Our Story
Chef Jacob Blue grew up in North Carolina, shaped by family meals that carried weight and flavor in every bite. Those recipes traveled north with him, and now they live here — in a storefront he rebuilt from the ground up alongside his partner Louis Feliciano.
Jacob spent 17 years at Wawa learning the deli trade, the rhythm of a neighborhood spot, the value of fast, honest food made with care. Blue South is where both worlds meet: a daytime deli that feeds the block and an evening soul food kitchen that feeds something deeper.
They laid the floors, patched the walls, and built a home. When you walk through that door, you feel it.
